The Orbis Flying Eye Hospital Exhibition and Tour commenced at Diamond Hangar from Saturday 11th of March – Tuesday the 21st of March 2017. The Orbis MD-10 Jet is a one of kind plane donated by Fedex to help bring the world together to fight blindness. The exhibition included exclusive tours of the Flying Eye Hospital. In addition, guests had the opportunity to watch 3D videos of surgical procedures, which can be done on the plane. This impressive event also commiserated with the launch of the “Operation Sight” campaign. This new campaign is focused on harnessing the power of the Flying Eye Hospital, use of medical experts and volunteers to deliver one million eye care treatments for children and adults by the end of 2018.

Group Chairman of Diamond Hangar, Prince Arthur Eze congratulated Orbis on the incredible impact they have made in changing the lives of children and adults in developing countries who suffer from avoidable eye condition.
